Calling all WatchDOGs

WatchDOG orientation will be Wednesday, September 27th at 11:00am and 5:30pm. Any dad, uncle, grandfather interested in volunteering should attend one of these orientation times.

Our Learning Targets

Reading: We describe the interactions of characters including their relationships and the changes they undergo with in realistic fiction. We can provide evidence from the text to support the author's message.

Writing: We can generate topics for writing through a range of strategies. We can craft a focused, organized personal narrative that contains elements of realistic fiction.

Social Studies: We can research the four regions of Texas. We can locate the four regions on a map and discuss important information about each section.

Math: We can use multiplication strategies to efficiently solve multiplication problems.

Science: We can measure, compare, and contrast physical properties of matter, including volume, magnetism, and the ability to sink or float.

Second Step

This week we will be learning about the importance of being assertive.
