School Board Vacancy
At their meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 12, the School Board discussed the application and membership selection process for both the School Board vacancy and the Citizens Bond Oversight Committee. Director Wayne Clift announced his resignation from the Board, effective after the December meeting, to pursue a teaching position with the District. A replacement must be appointed for the remainder of his term (through June 30, 2019). The Bond Oversight Committee is a group of citizens who will be kept informed about the progress of our bond projects, provide independent oversight, and report to the Board on a periodic basis. Additional information about both processes will be shared in our Jan. 2 Hot News.
