Cardinal Baseball traveled to Lafayette County on Friday 4/1 and came away victorious with a 9-0 varsity win and JV fell in a close game 7-8.

Back in KCI play, Lawson fell 12-2 @East Buchanan on 4/5 and will look to avenge the loss at the Excelsior Springs Tournament. Lawson played two games Thursday (4 and 630 pm). In game 1 Lawson defeated Richmond 5-2 and fell to Savannah 21-11. Lawson will take on Excelsior Springs on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Boys Golf

Boys golf traveled to Chillicothe for a dual with the Hornets on a gusty day and fell by a score of: Chillicothe 181Lawson 189

HS Academic Team

LHS Academic Team played in the KCI Conference Tournament hosted here at LHS

Round 1--Won 430-190 vs. East Buch (#7 seed). Top scorers: Maggie Lyon with 130 points; Spencer Owens with 120; Sam Moore with 110.

Round 2--Lost 320-330 vs. North Platte (#3 seed). Very close match....could have gone either way honestly. Such a hard loss that took us out of the chance for playing for the championship. Top scorer: Sam Moore with 130 points.

Round 3 (3rd place match)--Lost 180-240 vs. Lathrop (#1 seed). Top scorer: Maggie Lyon with 90 points).

We travel to Richmond to play in the District Tournament on Saturday, April 16.
