Yote Scholars' Day - Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018
In your email you will be receiving specific details on how this will be organized and which teachers will be in classrooms at what times. We will be operating on an abbreviated schedule during the morning with classes being 30 minutes in length. Please have something for your students to work on or read (AR books?) during this time while you conference with those students who will be remaining in class. For this to work, it is imperative that these students have the assignments they need to complete. Please remember, also, that these students are to remain in class until the end of the the activity time.
Please be watching your email for further details. An updated failure report will be run Monday at 3:00 p.m. PLEASE HAVE YOUR GRADES UPDATED SO THAT WE HAVE AN ACCURATE REPORT. Thanks!
Benchmark Testing - Jan. 23 - Feb. 2
Please think about any incentive you may be able to give your students so that they take this benchmark seriously. If done so, it can provide us with a specific focus for interventions.
Attendance Update
If you have anything to share that you know has worked at other schools or if you have any ideas, please share them. We need to raise our attendance. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration to this important issue.
Cheer Sponsor Needed for Next Year
Thanks for your consideration!
Our Focus
As administrators, our concern is for you and our students. We want and need you to be the best teacher you can be. This requires somethings from you and somethings from us. From you, we need you to be honest about your weaknesses and your strengths. We need you to be willing to share your strengths with your team, your department and the campus teachers as a whole.
It requires your administrative team to be here for you, to be present in your classrooms as much as possible, to provide timely feedback, and to provide your with the resources you need to the extent possible.
As we move into February and beyond, let us keep our focus on what matters most: student achievement for all students and student safety.
