PLD/Library material turn in
Dear Parent(s)/Guardians of CBE Students,
With the end of the school year approaching, we would like to keep you informed regarding the process involved in students returning their PLDs, accessories, and checked-out materials to the library.
The last day to check out library materials is Friday, May 12th. Students also received emails (in early and mid-May) from the CBE Library if they have any materials checked-out from the library. All library materials are due back on Friday, May 19th.
Students will be returning their PLD, power cords, neoprene cases, and modem (if applicable) to the library on Tuesday, May 30th and Wednesday, May 31st during their 6th grade ELA classes and 7-8th grade Science classes. A fine will be assessed if any materials are not turned in.
Please take a moment to remind your student of the turn in days. Students were also reminded of these dates during the first 2 weeks of May when they came to the library for a PLD check. Students taking summer school will check in their PLD, staff will verify they are enrolled in summer school, and check the PLD back out to the student. Eighth grade students taking summer school will return their PLD and receive a new one the first day of summer school at Fargo South High School.
Below are the replacement costs for missing items.
Items and their Replacement costs:
Full computer $302
Neoprene Case $20
PLD charging cord - $20
Plastic case for computers (all or part of it): $20
Modem (only some students) $225.00
Please do not hesitate to contact the CBE Library (446-1736/1725/1728) if you have any questions.
Thank you!
