The point of a good education is to expose children to the best of what has been learned, spoken, or thought over the past ten thousand years of human civilization.

Econ Fair 2018!
A Note from Ann...
What a lovely afternoon on Wednesday!
We began with such joy and cheer at the annual Econ Fair, tossing rings, eating paninis and enjoying the sunshine with students and colleagues. We ended the day with laughter, fire and camaraderie. Thanks to all who participated in these events.
I appreciate the many little elves in our midst who take time to bake cookies and leave them in the staff lounge (thanks Meri!), send thoughtful emails (thanks Michelle!), organize secret santas (thanks Mike!), and in general take the time to ask others their holiday plans, or share stories of traditions.
Events this week have focused us in on how precious life and family are, and have let us know we have some impish little student bugaboos among us, but they are indeed lovely little sweethearts we can support to take a step up to their better selves.
Wishing you all a gentle slide into the holiday break and a joyous evening tonight celebrating with exceptional colleagues.
Peace and good cheer to you all, Ann

PowerSchool Improvements! - Q1 Reports and Comments
Please note that in your PS gradebook, your comment column will be removed. We are getting rid of the customized column to optimize PS and simplify our systems.
Don't panic!! - The Q1 progress reports and comments are saved in HS Division > Official Documents >Reports. Even better, if you keep the Google doc you shared with Ann, you have all your comments on hand for quick look up and reference.
Thanks for your support and patience as we improve our systems!
I am looking for teacher volunteers who have quick minds and collaborative patience for discussions on how to work smarter, not harder for best student learning. Please email Ann if you have an interest in providing input and feedback on the 2019-2020 master schedule.
