The Waldron Weekly ‘20-‘21

Principal's Update

Hello Anasazi Scorpion community!

Welcome to the '20-'21 school year.

As we start this year of school we face unprecedented challenges in our community. The Coronavirus pandemic has disrupted our lives and for some has caused a great deal of pain. However, amidst this crisis we believe that the school can still serve as a place of hope, of connection, and of support for our community. And while we plan to begin the year with virtual learning on August 10th, we will still maintain a commitment to building connections with our students and with our families while also continuing the many supports we offer such as SUSD food deliveries, social-emotional support and more.

We believe above all else that we are stronger as a united community and that together there is no challenge we cannot overcome. After all we are Scorpions and WE ARE ANASAZI!

There is much to share about the start of school ...The details are in the newsletter below and we encourage you to engage with us, ask questions, and get clarity about our start of school! Details about teacher assignments, schedules, etc. is coming soon!

I will be sending weekly newsletters to families. Even if you do not read them, please do not unsubscribe from SUSD emails. In the case of an emergency, email blasts are used to send important information. Also, please remember that Peachjar emails are digital flyers sent from Anasazi and SUSD.

Wishing you all good health.

Serving your children,

Ms. Jennifer Waldron
