Celebrate Fall Reading at AV's book fair

There are just a couple weeks left until the AV Scholastic Book Fair Fundraiser! Every single purchase benefits AV PTA and the Wildcat community.

IN-PERSON SHOPPING


  • November 29 to December 3: Those with scheduled parent-teacher conferences are welcome to shop in Room 19 before or after their meeting. Kids may shop any date during lunch.
  • December 3: All parents and family members are welcome to come shop the book fair at the front of the school from 3 to 5:30pm.


ONLINE SHOPPING

  • November 29 to December 12: AV family members are welcome to purchase online here. Books ordered online are expected to arrive to the AV campus before Winter Break.


VIRTUAL WALLET

Create a virtual wallet so your child may buy books at the fair without having to carry and handle cash.


CLASSROOM WISH BASKETS

Parents are welcome to purchase books for specific classrooms. Teachers will be creating "Classroom Wish Baskets" listing their wish lists for their class collection. Parents may choose to purchase for any teachers' classrooms.

Calling all WIldcat entrepreneurs! PTA will be holding our 3rd annual Kids' Marketplace on December 3rd after school. If your child would like to host a booth and sell their handmade items, please learn more and sign up in advance here.

Riviera Mexican Grill Restaurant Fundraiser

Indulge in tacos on Thursday, November 18 and support PTA at the same time. Whether you order takeout, order delivery or dine in,15 percent of proceeds will go to AV PTA. Make reservations at 310-540-2501. Online orders may be placed here.

AV Run Club Will Get Back on Track

The Run Club helps students start their day with energizing physical activity and community. Run Club will be held before school starts. Please consider volunteering to help out at the track and keep tabs of laps. To sign up to be a volunteer, email the Run Club representative.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee celebrates Native American Heritage Month

The DEI Committee recognizes November as Native American Heritage month. We invite you to learn about the contributions of Native Americans.

Give back with Project Unified

Project Unified is a joint RBUSD / PTA effort to sponsor families in need for the holidays. Alta Vista will be collecting donations for our "Adopted Families" from November 12 through December 3. Please stay tuned for more details and consider donating to this worthy cause.
