Middle School Drama will have their lunch break from (approximately 13:15-14:15). Middle School and Secondary School students are free to get lunch from outside of school, but it would be ideal for students involved in the entire show to bring a packed lunch which they can eat on the school premises.
WHAT TO WEAR
Students are not required to be in costume for the rehearsals on the Sunday 16th March and Sunday 23rd March, but they do need to be wearing something appropriate to perform in. There will be FULL DRESS REHEARSALS on both Sunday 30th March and Sunday 6th April, so all costumes must be brought to these rehearsals and (for girls) hair suitably tied up out of the way.
COSTUME REQUIREMENTS
For all students who appear as part of the Middle School Drama Club, Primary School Choir and first half singing acts, they must adhere to the costume requirements :
Top: plain shirt/blouse in a light colour (white, beige or cream)
long sleeves or short sleeves
Bottom: trousers/skirt and tights (black or dark blue)
shoes should be dark in colour (black or dark blue)
The students playing TEACHERS in the Drama Club must wear smart/causal clothes:
Girls: trousers/skirt with a smart top or a dress – with or without a blazer
Boys: trousers with a shirt and tie – suit jackets/jumpers are optional
Students who take part in the TALENT SHOW section of the script are free to decide what they wear, however, it must be appropriate (no bare shoulders, no short skirts, etc.) and aimed at being smart evening wear.
Those in the Primary School Cheerleading and Streetdance/Breakdance will be given seperate requirements from the extra-curricular teachers.
BACKING/MUSIC TRACKS
For those of you who are performing solo/group numbers that require use of a backing/music track, please bring TWO COPIES with you on Sunday. I will keep one copy to get it put onto a master CD for the theatre. If you do not bring your copy you will not be able to rehearse. I will have the track for Streetdance/Breakdance sent to me directly by the teacher.
