We will be going to the the Holifield Science Learning Center on Tuesday, April 17th from 9:15-12:00. Please have your child wear jeans or long pants and closed-toe shoes. If it is cool outside, please have your child wear a jacket. It can be cool when walking on the trails in the morning. Please have your child return their permission slip by Friday, April 13th.
Day of Drumming:
- PTA is hosting Day of Drumming on Wednesday, April 25th. Children will be participating in an interactive drumming circle during our specials time. Each child will get to play a djembe drum. Please have your child wear jeans or long pants so they can hold the drums. Please also encourage your child to not wear jewelry on this day because it can damage the drums.
Celebration of Cultures:
- Today your child will bring home a paper doll pattern. Each grade level is decorating a doll for our Celebration of Cultures on Thursday, May 3rd from 6:00-7:00. Asia is the continent chosen for Kindergarten. We would love for your family to decorate a doll with traditional clothes worn from a country in Asia. Please have your child return their doll by Friday, April 27th.
