Tech Tidbit: ThingLink

For some of you this may be review, but I wanted to remind you of a fun tool for creating interactive images - Thinglink!

From their website:

"ThingLink is an interactive media platform that empowers... educators...to create more engaging content by adding rich media links to photos and videos. ... Use ThingLink to create interactive news photography, maps, posters, family albums, infographics,...in minutes!"

ThingLink is available for use as an iPad app or through a web browser. The free version has limitations on how much editing you can do. The EDU premium version costs $35/year.

Here's a great example of a ThingLink from Emerging EdTech: http://www.emergingedtech.com/2016/02/27-meaningful-ways-to-use-edtech-thinglink/

Featured Books: YA Choice Titles

YA Choice!

Remember - students have the opportunity to vote on YA Choice titles to help choose which books appear on a nationally recognized list of the best books for teens! We desperately need teens to read these books and there are so many that I can honestly say that there is something here for everyone!

Trivia!

Why did the marathon at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics cause such an uproar?
