Holy Trinity Families,
I apologize for the delay in this newsletter. I was blessed to have the opportunity to spend the weekend in DC with the class of 2022! It was a great trip and I am so grateful that we were able to resume our class trips this year. Both 6th and 7th grade spend the day in Columbus on Friday visiting COSI, the Ohio Statehouse and the Mansfield reformatory. Thank you to all of our parents and teachers who chaperoned all of these trips.
Mrs. Scanlan reminded me today that we only have 3 Mondays left in the school year which is really hard to believe! The month of May is always fast and furious. We will be celebrating many special events and also some lasts for the class of 2022. Keep an eye on the HTS twitter account for a play by play of the daily events @HTS_Eagles.

Vacation Bible School Update
We are trying to bring our VBS program back to HT this summer. The slated week is July 18th with setup happening the week prior. In order to make this happen we are in need of volunteers including adults and students in grades 8-12. If you or your grade 8-high school aged student would like to volunteer please go to our sign up page.
We will begin meeting at the end of May to discuss plans for the week. If we get enough volunteers, sign ups will happen in early June.

HT Mother/Son event!!
St. Baldrick's is back!
We are excited to be hosting our 6th annual St. Baldrick's event at Holy Trinity on Monday, May 16th. Students, faculty, family and friends will have the opportunity to "Brave the Shave." Shavees will ask friends and families to make donations "on their head" and in return they will have their heads shaved in solidarity with kids fighting cancer.
In the last 5 years we have shaved over 365 heads and together raised $126,700 for pediatric cancer research!
To register your "shavee," please visit
https://www.stbaldricks.org/events/HolyTrinity2022
REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON APRIL 29TH!!! If you register after this date, you will not receive a shavee t-shirt until after the event.
Share this link with anyone who would like to register or donate. To register, participants will have to click on the "Join Us" button and it will walk them through the registration process. Heads will be shaved by a licensed barber or hairdresser.
When you register your child, you will also fill out a St. Baldrick's Participant Agreement as part of the registration process through St. Baldrick's. Each child or adult must have their own St. Baldrick's Participant Agreement.
All students shaving must also fill out a Holy Trinity Waiver. All student shavees and participating sibling shavees can be listed on one waiver. These will be available on the HT website in the coming days. Stay tuned.
YOU ONLY NEED TO FILL WAIVERS OUT IF YOU ARE A SHAVEE!!
We are extremely excited to welcome Kelly Shaker as the new chairperson for this wonderful HT tradition!! Any questions can be directed to Kelly at kelshaker@gmail.com
