Synopsis
Ray Bradbury explores the idea of change in his story about Margot and the community of children who live who live on the planet Venus. Moving from Earth to Venus is a significantchange in the lives of all the children but being rejected and alienated presesnts a further change for Margot. rat Bradbury's protagonist Margot, remembers the warmth and beauty of the sun and this causes the others to resent her in their constantly raining world. the children lock her in a closet and deny her the opportunity to see the sun again. This is Margot's critical incident that changes her life forever. the evemnt also affects the children who feel remorse, guilt and shame at their selfosh treatment of Margot.
