iTeach MakerCamp 2019
Day 3--July 10, 2019
Maker Camp Day 3
Today we completed a service project called Alex's Lemonade Stand. Our campers discussed what makes a business successful? They then used the skills and ideas they learned about to make a lemonade stand and carnival games.
Tomorrow we will have a field day in the morning. Please make sure your child is wearing comfortable clothes and appropriate shoes. We will also be tie-dying shirts. Campers will want to wear clothes that can get dirty. Campers can bring a towel with them for sitting on the ground in between activities. We have shirts for tie-dying but they are big. If your camper wants to bring an old white shirt to tie-dye that is a better fit they can use that.
Updates / Reminders
- We post pictures to Seesaw throughout the camp day. Don't forget to check them out!
- Send a refillable water bottle with your child - we have filtered bottle refill stations on campus.
- Friday afternoon is the student-directed conference time for your child to share with you all that he or she has learned this week. Please plan to be here about 2:15 pm so your child can share with you.
- Lunch Friday will be in the Commons. It is a favorite of our campers so no need to pack a lunch on Friday. You just need to send a snack.
- If you stay late for aftercare, please bring extra snacks.

They did an amazing job completing their projects and working as a team. We are all very proud of their effort.
