Grading Policy and Reporting Reminders! - PLEASE REVIEW!

  • Do NOT put a 0 in on any assignment that was not completed due to student absence - for any reason - until the student has had sufficient time and opportunity to complete the assignment and failed to do so.
  • Assignments in grade book must have specific name - i.e. Ch 12 vocab assignment vs Homework 2
  • Grades must be entered within 5 days of assignment due date.
  • Late Work is accepted - 1 day late is up to 15 points off; 2 days late is up to 30 points off
  • Parent contact and Student/Teacher Conference forms are required any time a student is unsuccessful and any time a student is in danger of failing a course - please document all contact
S1 Student Teacher Conference Form

This is required for any student who is in jeopardy of failing your class. This form shall be completed in a conference with the teacher and the student and then shared with the appropriate principal and student’s counselor.

If you are not taking advantage of this grade repair opportunity with your students, please do!

Decorating will be done by advisories throughout the week of December 2nd-6th. All decorations need to be up by the end of the day on the 6th. Judging will take place on December 9th during advisory and the winning hallway will receive a prize! Please let your advisory students know the theme of your hallway and everyone can pitch in and bring at least one or two items to help decorate!

Please join us in the counseling suite during your team planning time on Thursday, December 5, 2019 to have Coffee, Cake, Coke & Conversation with counselors and to celebrate you and all you do to support Travis High School’s Counseling Department. We will have treats to share with you as we fellowship, brainstorm ideas, and discuss Travis High School’s Counseling Program. Our goal is to bring awareness to school counseling and how we can support you. Please join us for Coffee, Cake, Coke and Conversations!!! We look forward to seeing you. Coffee is being provided by Starbucks Aliana, treats are provided by Randalls Pecan Grove and PTO. We will have a raffle each period and we look forward to working with you!
