Hawk Happenings
April 18th - 29th
Here's what's happening at Spring Lake....
There are just six weeks of school left on the calendar and we have many upcoming events and activities including field trips, track meets, performances and more! We are starting to prepare for our final assessments in reading, math and science. Attendance at school is so important over the coming weeks. Please have your child at school on time and make sure they are getting enough sleep and eat a healthy breakfast. We are excited to see how much our students have learned this year.
Mark your calendar and plan to attend our PTA meeting on Thursday, April 21st at 9:30 AM. We really need your help and support and would love to have you join us as we begin planning for next year. There are many ways to be involved and parent involvement creates better experiences for students. We need you!
Shadow Mountain Registration goes live on Monday morning (April 25th) at 6:00 AM for our 5th grade students who would like to participate in this fun summer camp offered by Nebo District. Please read through the newsletter for information on several upcoming events!
A letter from Mrs. Jordan
Dear Spring Lake Parents & Patrons,
It is hard to express how much I have loved the five years I've spent at Spring Lake Elementary and how difficult it will be to say goodbye. The teachers and staff here represent the best of the best. It has been a privilege to work alongside them and learn from them. Your children have been the greatest joy and a true light in my life. I will miss them every day. I want to express sincere appreciation for the PTA and each parent who I've had the privilege to know and interact with. Your help and support means the world to me. Spring Lake is home and a piece of my heart will always be here. I cherish knowing that "Once a hawk, always a hawk!"
I will remain working at the school until July and will be here for the last weeks of school to ensure that we finish strong and have a smooth transition. THANK YOU again for everything. Our Spring Lake community is simply the BEST!
Warmest Regards,
Mrs. Jordan
