As we wish Mr. Seath the best of luck with his future career endeavour, we would like announce Mrs. Wissinger (AGS Technology Teacher) as the Interim Assistant Principal. She will fill the role for the remainder of the school year. Mrs. Bentz will be taking over as the new Technology Teacher. Mrs. Wissinger is very excited for this opportunity. Next Week's Theme: Self-Control
WHAT DOES SELF-CONTROL MEAN?
You have the ability to control your emotions
and behaviors. You think before you act.
WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
People with self-control are able to limit
impulsive behavior, and they have the
ability to work through difficulties while
remaining poised. They understand that
through discipline and restraint, there are
greater, long-term goals that they can
accomplish. Self-control is like a muscle: it
gets stronger the more it is used.
“If you can learn self-control, you can master
anything.”

Free Digital Library Card
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we move forward into the school year, we have noticed that it would be helpful if your child had a library card for the Genesee District Library. This is a free resource for all who live in Genesee County, and allows students and families instant access to digital book downloads and audio books. By having a library card, students will be able to access a broader variety of books, which will give them more opportunities to find genres and authors they enjoy.
This year, the Genesee District Library is doing a pilot program with our district to help all students obtain access to digital resources. Below is a link to register your student for a digital library card. We are asking that you please take 2-3 minutes to sign your student up for a digital card so that they can obtain access to audio books and ebooks in their English class. The link closes on Tuesday, November 7, so we are asking you to sign up as soon as possible.

Thank you for helping us help your student get their hands on books they will love.
