Books for Babies
Baby's First Book
One of Fox Valley Reading Council's Community Projects!
FVRC is collecting and donating NEW children’s books (Age 0-2 years) to Northwstern Delnor Hospital in Geneva, and Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora. Books provide families of newborns with something to read as they spend time in the hospital or NICU. Reading to babies is soothing, creates bonding, and provides that very special first literacy experience! We believe this is a very worthwhile community project.

- We collect books at all our professional development events. Come join us!
- Teachers can have their indivudual classrooms, or the whole school collect books as a community project.
- Local universities can collect books donated by students and staff.
- Local businesses may collect.
