Hello, Mustangs!!
Phase 2 of Distance Learning Experiences has had a great kickoff! You know why??? We were able to see, even if at a distance, some of our sweet Mustangs on Tuesday! #mesHEART #lovemypeople. Please do continue to share photos, videos, and experiences! This helps to keep us all connected.
A huge shoutout to our MES family for sporting purple on Wednesday for "Purple It Up!" for our military students. These students sacrifice precious family time as their parents serve our country! Thank you to our military families for this service and sacrifice!!!
Earth Day is on Wednesday, April 22, so please do take photos of how you help take care of the Earth!! Pick up trash, plant a flower, work in the dirt!! Post your pictures and share in Social Media. I love getting my hands dirty! Laugh at me...with social distancing I can't go buy flowers so I have been digging up plants and relocating them!! Have Earth Day fun, Mustangs!
Wednesday is also Administrative Professional Day! Many thanks to our wonderful secretaries, Terri Felkel, Amanda Price, Pansy Suddeth, Kelley Waslewski, Alicia Weed, and Clair Weir!!! We can't do this without you, ladies! You keep us rockin' and rollin'!
Please remember--don't let Distance Learning stress you out as a family. Use a timer, keep times short, stop and move, make it fun, and...when it gets tense...stop and walk away for a while. Social and emotional health is very important!
Enjoy the weekend and make sure to include FUN reading and outdoor activities!
Best regards,
Jan Fickling
Principal of Midway Elementary
