Panther Pause
21 years of Pride at Colleyville Heritage High School
12.15.17
Panthers,
The final week of the semester is upon us and it has truly been an amazing semester. Speaking of amazing, last night I had the opportunity to watch our TMEA State Honor choir perform for their Winter Concert, and I was left speechless. I was truly astonished by their talent, and the clear amount of time and effort they put in to create such a magical performance. I am really looking forward to the privilege of introducing them at the largest music convention in the state in February.
As I mentioned last week, it is the end of the semester for CHHS and that means that final exams are upon us. This is a stressful time for everyone involved, especially our students. I think the best thing you can do as parents is to continue to encourage them and let them know that they are prepared for these exams and will be successful. Your confidence in them is something that can help build upon for confidence in themselves. I can assure you that having been in classrooms all semester long, they know the material from their classes. The teachers at CHHS have done an amazing job preparing our students for the task at hand. Have a great weekend and GO PANTHERS!!

Define what PRIDE means to you at CHHS.
I feel as if PRIDE is being the best person you can be and being a positive influence on your peers. Everyone can have panther pride, and it shows through their hard work and determination to do well. The meaning of pride for one person is not always the same meaning for another. For me, PRIDE is being proud of the work that you've accomplished, which we all show in many different ways. One way I show my Panther Pride is by creating meaningful artwork that people can connect to.
