Gus plans to continue his soccer career beyond SYSA playing for his high school--

We wish him the best of luck! Thank you for being a part of the SYSA family!

At SYSA we hope to encourage strong teamwork, dedication, and a sense of community amongst our athletes. We want our players to fall in love with soccer as a lifelong sport! Through our “For the Love of the Game” initiative, athletes will be recognized for their dedication to the game and their team. To acknowledge these athletes' best efforts we will reward them with a yard sign to let everyone know that we see their love for soccer and commitment to their team. Game on!!

Summer Skills Camp Registration is now OPEN!

Financial Assistance for SYSA programming

Thanks to the generosity of our families, SYSA is happy to provide financial assistance to players who want to join our community but may need a little help. Over the past year alone we've granted nearly $5000.00 in financial assistance to Travel and Recreation players. We've also worked with the Shaker Schools Foundation to facilitate use of their Level the Playing field funds and helped families access assistance through the The Dick's Sporting Goods Foundation. If you'd like to donate to help support our initiatives, you can do so here. More generally, if you have questions or ideas about fundraising to help support our financial assistance program or community outreach, please contact Board member April Bain at

DirecTV Sponsor message

Every famous athlete we’ve beamed or streamed into countless homes across the nation got their start on a team or in a league just like the one your family is cheering on this year. DIRECTV is not only the undisputed leader in sports but we’re also the ultimate sports fans, and are proud to sponsor the passion of every budding star this season.

We value the spirit of competition and comradery found on every court, diamond, field and pool. From the pros to the pee wees, there’s nothing we love more than giving sports a platform to ignite joy in the lives of those who watch and participate. It’s an honor to celebrate your ambitious kids at play, and the dedication of the families supporting them in so many ways.

Have a great season. And have even more fun… Let’s go!
