Keeping the Faith and Keeping Connected

October 18, 2018

Volume 3, Issue 11

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."

~Philippians 2:5-8

Tardy Policy Reminder

The family manual says, "All tardies are considered unexcused. Please remember that three tardies generate one absence." Parents, please remind your students to be on time to each class.

Heritage Class Provides Recycling Opportunity

This semester six seniors are taking a class called Experiential Learning taught by Dr. Marshall Robb. Throughout the semester they have projects they have to complete and the first project they worked on was a recycling project. They investigated recycling themselves and had several guest speakers come and share about recycling. After looking at different ways the school could be involved in recycling they decided to put a recycling bin in the cafeteria for bottles and cans. They will soon have boxes in all the classrooms to recycle paper also.
