6-8 Pirate Information
Message from Mrs. Young & Mrs. Nelson
Pirate students and families in grades 6-8, please make note to some important items coming up in the future!
Mrs. Nelson & Mrs. Young will be rolling out a new late work policy soon. We are hoping this will help motivate students to get more of their work completed on time along with the checklists sent home to sign each week. The late policy and student checklists will help everyone work together to encourage and push students to do the best they can during this time of the year. Thank you already for all of your support at home and continue to check our lists! They are included on this week's weekly GA Newsletter and sent home electronically and with your student.
Also, please know that after school times are changing for each location to ONLY ONE DAY each week. Students can stay until 3pm on Tuesdays at NGMS and Thursdays at Tar River.
Thank you for all you do for our students!
9-12 Pirate Information
High School: Student Labs
We are halfway through the semester. We do not want any high school student to not earn credit. All 9-12 grade students who are earning below a 61 in any class will be contacted to attend an onsite help lab. You will report to the lab weekly until you are back on pace and passing. We want to provide you with the support you need now to pass and earn credit for the course!
Friday labs with Ms. Kellam will begin on November 30th, 2018.
