ParentSquare Program Update We have recently been informed of a program update for ParentSquare to be launched on Wednesday, February 3. All users will be logged out of ParentSquare, so when you go to access your account on Wednesday, February 3, you will need to log in. You can log in on the ParentSquare Sign In Page or you can also reset your password. The ParentSquare update is adding a 2-way verification to all accounts as an upgraded security feature. Once you log in, you will receive a request for an authorization code which will be emailed to you from ParentSquare. Boys Soccer Can/Bottle Drive
Save the date! Our Gananda Boys Soccer team will be holding a can and bottle drive on Saturday, February 13 from 9 am-12 pm at Richard Mann Elementary. Drop your cans and bottles off and help support our student-athletes! Proceeds help support the boys modified/JV/Varsity soccer programs.
Presidents Week Recess
There will be no classes for students February 15-19 due to Presidents Week Recess. Classes will resume on Monday, February 22. Also, there will be no newsletter sent out during the break.
Special Education Virtual Parent Forum
Join Director of Special Education, Melissa Phelps, on February 4 at 6:30 pm for a general information session pertaining to Special Education in the district so far this year. A review of Procedural Safeguards, remote learning, and a Q&A session will be included. Registration is required to attend.
Reminder: Transportation Changes
Transportation Changes: Effective February 15 - If you would like to make changes to your current transportation needs, such as having your student ride the bus instead of dropping them off, the change will be implemented on February 15, 2021.

Richard Mann Elementary PBIS Staff Member of the Week
Today marks the second week of continuing to honor our fully remote teachers. Congratulations to Serena Oleksyn for being our PBIS staff winner! Serena has put in countless hours of work teaching both 2nd and 3rd grade curriculum as well as navigating different communication platforms. We thank you for all that you do for us and look forward to your return to school; your positive presence is certainly missed!
Playground Reopening During School Hours
We are excited to announce we will begin utilizing the playground during school hours for our elementary PAT (preferred activity time) sessions beginning Tuesday, January 19. The playground will only be available to our elementary students during the school day as scheduled per their color day and weather permitting. Safety procedures will be in place to ensure the well-being of all of our students and staff. Please be sure to send your child to school dressed for the weather.
