Turf Grass Management- Salary
The salary for turf management can range, depending on your degree. For Head Superintendents, the salary range is $50,000 to $250,000. If you have a 4-year Graduates degree in Turf Management, your starting salary will range from $35,000 to $45,000 as a 1st or 2nd Assistant Superintendent or an Assistant in Training.
Turf Grass Management- Education
College is optional for turf grass management. If you want to attend Virginia Tech, you can major in turf grass management. Suppose you choose to major in that field, you will learn about various types of plants, turf management, soils and nutrient management, and landscape design. Special-study classes allow students to work on the athletic fields at Virginia Tech and compete in national competitions. Your GPA has to be at the minimum of 2.0 to graduate. You will receive a Bachelor of Science in Turfgrass and Landscape Management.
