First Grade Learning Celebration 3/18/16
The first grade learning celebration was remarkable. Students shared their learning as pedologists (study of soil), hydrologists, and geologists. The feedback received from parents in attendance was priceless. Several parents discussed how students conducted their own research (without parents doing the work). Others discussed how their child helped them (parents) understand rocks and soil with a level of depth. Friday's learning celebration provided evidence to parents that we as a school have moved beyond doing that which is traditional and are engaging in what is possible.
School Renewal Plan Engagement
Tuesday, March 22nd, 3:15-4:15pm
As you are aware all D5 schools spent this spring working on their respective school renewal plans. Our instructional team along with members of our school improvement council has created a draft for DFES.
For this coming Tuesday we have designed an engagement to allow all certified staff members to review and more importantly add input into our school's renewal plan. These plans will guide our work over the next five years. Looking forward to the discussions.

Wednesday, March 23rd, 3:15-4:15pm
