Advent Week 3

The Advent season is one of the most beautiful times in the school. We gather every morning as a school. We sing the song "Violets in the Snow", we share a Jesse Tree Symbol and its significance as students and staff offer up the prayers of their hearts.

The third candle is pink and is lite this week. This pink candle symbolizes joy. It is called the “Shepherd’s Candle,” and is pink because rose is a liturgical color for joy and to remind us of the joy that the world experienced at the birth of Jesus.

We will also, send you a link on Dec.17th to make a donation to Lurana Shelter/ Sign of Hope stuff a stocking campaign. . Like every Christmas, we collect at the concert $$ for Lurana Shelter.
