SCHOOL-WIDE LEARNING EXPECTATION OF THE WEEK: WRITE IDEAS CLEARLY
By the time our 8th-grade students graduate from Our Lady of Las Vegas, they should be able to Students write with clarity, purpose, understanding, and creativity, utilizing a variety of sentence structures and word choices.
This week will emphasize the importance of using writing to express ourselves.
After School Pick Up
Since we no longer have to stand on numbers to social distance at pick up, please form a line outside of your child's classroom after school so teachers can easily tell which child they are dismissing next. Please do not crowd the door. Thank you in advance.
Classroom Volunteers
Should you wish to volunteer in your child's classroom or be a chaperone on a field trip please ensure that you have completed fingerprinting, background checks, and the CMG program. You may pick up a volunteer packet in the front office. Please know that this clearance process takes between four and six weeks.
