Staff,
You know that feeling you get when someone special to you does something amazing and you stand back in awe…? That is how Justin and I felt about you today. We cannot thank you enough for what you do for students each and every day, and now the community knows what we already knew---You are an exceptional staff. Today’s open house was a true success because of you—all of you!
We truly appreciate you and are so fortunate to be a part of the SRES STEAM journey!

HOT BREAKFASTS COMING TO SRES
On Wednesday April 27, Food and Nutrition Services will be taste testing a new MMFA breakfast entree at Spring Ridge Elementary School. It is a hot individually-wrapped turkey sausage breakfast pizza (pork free) that we think the students will love. Food & Nutrition Services are hoping to get feedback from the students and may be popping into some classrooms or passing out a 1 or 2 question survey to see if students like the breakfast pizza. It will be served in place of the cereal kit. Juice, fruit and milk will accompany the pizza.
Even more exciting…We will be starting hot MMFA breakfast in May twice a week! Every Monday and Wednesday the classroom breakfast entrée will be a hot entrée! Ballenger Creek Elementary School and West Frederick Middle School have served hot breakfast 1-2 days per week for several months and the students have really enjoyed it. Food & Nutrition Services anticipates the students at Spring Ridge Elementary School will also value more weekly variety that includes hot foods. Breakfast will be delivered at the same time and in the same manner as it always has been; your students will just notice a hot entrée on Mondays and Wednesdays.
