VANWAGNEN NEWS
On Thursday, May 17th, beginning at 4:30 pm, the 6th grade track team will compete at home on the CCHS track. This will be their final home event of the season. Come out and show your support if you are able!
Also, on May 17th, beginning at 7 pm, the 6th grade Choir and Band will present their spring concert. The concert will be held in the CES gymnasium. Students should report to Mr. Cryderman's music room at 6:45 pm. The concert will last approximately 45-60 minutes.
The students have worked very hard and are eagerly anticipating the chance to perform in this final concert. I look forward to seeing you there!

Summer is quickly approaching. As you are planning your summer events, please consider summer camps as a way for your child to develop new skills and have some fun. Our School District will be offering a variety of programs for students. A brochure will be mailed to district families. Listed below are some of the programs that pertain to students at CUES:

Our Lost and Found racks are overflowing! Please encourage your child to look for missing items throughout the week. Any remaining items will be donated on May 8th. Thank you for your support!
LIBRARY BOOKS
FIELD DAY VOLUNTEERS
Field Day will be held on Tuesday, May 29th. The Lower Elementary Feild Day will take place from 9:00-10:30 am. The Upper Elementary Field Day will take place from 12:45-2:30 pm. Volunteers are needed to help run the Field Day Stations. Volunteers must have had their background check completed with the school district this year. If you can help, please contact the school office to sign up.
BROOKLYN KIWANIS CLUB- CHILDREN'S BIKE RODEO
The Columbia Central Key Club and Builder's Club are hosting a Bike Rodeo on June 2nd at Columbia Elementary Schools. This is a free, fun, family event which will be held on Saturday, June 2nd from 11 am - 2 pm at Columbia Upper Elementary School. Children are invited to bring their bikes and learn about bike safety in a fun and informative way.
