Commodus
Emperor of Rome
How Commodus Became Emperor
His accession as emperor was the first time a son had succeeded his father since Titus succeeded Vespasian in 79. He was also the first emperor to have both a father and grandfather as the two preceding emperors. Commodus was the first emperor "born in purple" during his father's reign.
Who Commodus Dressed Liked and What He Did
Commodus dressed up like Hercules. He said it made him feel powerful and brave. And another cool fact is that he destroyed all the land hiss father earn by all his wars. Also he was a gladiator.
