Saber Speak
Dear Saber Families,
First of all, congratulations to all of our 8th graders, who successfully completed their Portfolio Presentations on Friday! Community members from all over the city came in to interview our students on the great work they have done and the learning they have realized while at Sinaloa. Though most admitted they were nervous before the interview, almost all students had a great time and felt good about the experience. And at the very least, everyone agreed that it was good to be one step closer to promotion!
On that note, 8th grade parents need to know that emails with your son or daughter's current promotion eligibility were sent out last week. Please check for that email and if you did not get it, or have any questions, please reach out as soon as possible. It is our goal to have every 8th grader able to promote with their classmates, and that is only possible with your help. Thank you for all your support!
Staff Appreciation Week is coming up soon and the Sinaloa PTSA is looking for your help to make it a great one! the PTSA is interested in donations towards lunch and snacks throughout the week, and raffle items for staff. If you are interested and able to contribute, please see and complete the flyer in your email, on our website, or in the office.
Finally, 6th grade families need to be aware that this Wednesday is the last day to pay for WOLF Outdoor Camp. Please make sure to finalize payment before Wednesday, April 17th, if you would like your child to go. If you want your child to go, but are unable to pay before April 17th, please reach out to the office by Tuesday, April 16th.
Sincerely,
Bradley Torti

Para espanol, oprima la estrella. (Llama dia o noche)
ABSENCES - Parents have five (5) days to call-in, email, or send in a note to the attendance office to excuse an absence otherwise it becomes truant. Keep in mind that personal/vacation are verified but still considered unexcused.
TARDIES - If a student is tardy to homeroom or late to school, they need to check-in with the attendance office to get a tardy pass. Students tardy to homeroom will have a 15 minute detention after school unless a parent calls, emails, or sends in a note to excuse the tardy. Excessive tardies to classes will affect "citizenship" grade.
EARLY PICK-UPS - We encourage parents to call-in ahead of time (or send in a note or email) for early pick-ups so that we can have the student in the office ready to go.
