South Elementary K-Kids
Student Series- Pennies for Patients
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Needs Our Help!
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is a service learning, character education and philanthropy program that gives students a unique experience to make a difference in the fight against blood cancers, like leukemia.
What is Pennies for Patients?
Pennies for Patients is a fun way to raise money for LLS. All money raised will be donated to LLS.
Classroom Competition
Classrooms will be collecting money starting on Wednesday, February 24th and ending on Friday, February 26th.
Pennies collected count positively towards your classroom total. All other money, such as dimes, quarters, and bills, count negatively toward a classroom total. Students will be depositing silver coins and bills into other classroom buckets.
Money will be sent down to the office each morning but students will not know which classroom is in the lead until the winner is announced.
The classroom with the most positive count at the end of the week will be our winner! There will be one winner from both third and fourth grade.
Winning classrooms earn a popcorn party from K-Kids!
