Personal/Social Development
With our return to learning five days a week, you will now be surrounded by most all of your peers, and not divided by group days. This time may be exciting, or overwhelming. Remember to continue keeping your focus on utilizing class time appropriately, and utilize lunch and other appropriate teacher specific times to visit with your friends. Ask for help from a Lange staff member if you are needing assistance managing your peer interactions.
We talked about back to school transition tips earlier, and the fifth tip was to focus on the positives. Below you will find a list of positive thoughts and affirmations that you can download. List some positive thoughts and affirmations you can say to yourself. I will go first. " I believe in myself and my abilities. I’ve got this. I can take it one step at a time."
Now it's your turn.

Get The Most Out of Your Elective Classes
Electives offer a way for you to show your personality and interest. Electives classes cover a wide variety of topics, allowing you to be introduced to subjects that you may not have learned about if they were not offered.
While taking an elective course that you may or may not have picked, you may discover a new hobby or career interest. For example, while taking a computers coarse you may find your entrepreneurial passion to run a world-wide business where marketing and operating your business will rely heavily on your knowledge of using computers for business.
