Foods of the World

A meal like no other!

What makes our experience so unique is the fact that it comes from five different regions of the world. We drew inspiration from many different sources as well. Inspiration comes from the books Mara Shaloup's "Rise and Fall of the Big Meech and the Black Mafia Family", Todd Burpo and Lynn Vincent's "Heaven is for Real", Art Spiegleman's "Maus", and "For the Love of the Game" by Michael Jordan. Come and visit and be open to several different regional cultures. With so many different options, it is hard not to find a dish someone will not like.

Dining Choices Include:

Peach Cobbler

This old-fashioned dessert is a traditional favorite of many. Contents include fresh picked Georgia Peaches in a savory filling topped of with a thin layer of biscuit topping. There are many ways to eat it. The dish can be eaten warm, cold, or served with ice cream.

I choose this dish because Georgia is known for peaches, and one of the main settings in the book is Atlanta. Georgia is known as the "Peach State" and is one of the largest peach producers in the country. Demetrius loves to treat his crew to the very best and peach cobbler is one of the best desserts. It also has a symbolic meeting with the two main characters. The Flenory brothers Demetrius and Terry are very different in the way they mangage their crews. Demetrius likes to flaunt his wealth while his mangers mange the drug trade. While Terry is more hands on and likes to stay behind the scenes. This is like peach cobbler because there are different ways you can serve it but it is still peach cobbler as there are many ways to mangage the drug trade but money is still made.
