Virtual Author Visit
On Tuesday, May 10th students will have the opportunity to Skype with artist and author Mark Gonyea. Mark has written several books including: A Book About Color; A Book About Design; Another Book About Design; and The Spooky Book. Most students are familiar with A Book About Color from art class. Students will have an opportunity to see Mark Gonyea’s studio, hear about his inspirations, and learn about the process for creating books. There will be time during the presentation for students to ask him questions. We are very excited to bring this digital learning opportunity to our students. If you'd like to know more about this artist, visit his website at http://www.markgonyea.com/.
The video conference sessions will be held in the cafeteria at the following times:
(K/1) 8:20 - 8:50
(2/3) 9:00 - 9:45
(4/5) 10:05-10:50
Do you have t-shirts and sweaters you’d like to donate?
We are collecting t-shirts (all colors and sizes) to be used for art shirts and for next year's Art Show. Consider donating your outgrown or old sweaters to a future art project. You can drop off t-shirts and sweaters in Ms. Dorian’s classroom.
