Principal's Message

A short but busy month of February at Elmdale School! It was fantastic to see the large number of families and caregivers attend our Family Celebration of Learning. There were some new and exciting things to see at the event this year. I want to specifically recognize the Grade 1 classes who displayed their hand crafted community that students created. This was a fantastic inquiry unit that was extremely engaging for all students for the past month.

I want to thank all our students, families, and caregivers for spending time reading a little extra during I Love To Read Month. Thank you to staff and students for sending in a picture of themselves reading. These pictures made for another great Elmdale ILTR video.

Looking ahead into the month of March, we will be sending home report cards March 17th for our Grade 1-4 students.

During the week of March 20-24, we are looking forward to our 2nd annual Elmdale Extravaganza week. Please read below for the exciting dress up days and our Elmdale pancake breakfast.

Have a fantastic month of March!

Take care,

Mr. Colin Campbell

I Love to Read Month

Another successful I Love to Read Month took place at Elmdale School! A BIG thank you to all families for taking the time to read a little extra this month.

All families will receive an update note from their child's teacher this month checking in with the progress of home reading and mentioning any changes that may take place. If you have any questions about your child's home reading program, please contact your child's teacher and they will be happy to answer any questions.
