Mr. Reedy -
First off to the Class of 2020, congratulations! I know this is not how you envisioned your senior year but I encourage you to remember all of the positive experiences you have had throughout your high school career. One thing is certain, you will always have a very unique story to tell. I thank you for allowing me to be a small part of that story. Again, congratulations and best of luck to you in whatever comes next.
To the rest of my students, I thank you for continuing to work hard during our current situation. I have enjoyed our Zoom sessions and looked forward to seeing your responses to our weekly check-in questions. I have learned so much about you. Although distance learning has been a unique experience, I can say with 100% certainty that I am excited to see you in person next school year. Take care of yourself and have a great summer!
Mrs. Walters
Thank you to all students who continued to work hard this year! This year did not end the way any of us could have envisioned, but so many of you made the best of it! Your efforts will definitely help you as you move forward in school and in life. I look forward to seeing you all again next year! To the seniors, my heart breaks for you as this is not the way anyone could have imagined high school ending, but you all have seemed to make the best of this situation. Our community is so proud of everything you have accomplished and we look forward to continuing to celebrate with you! I cannot wait to see you all when school starts! Have a great summer!
Mr. Walters -
I just want to thank any student who has continued working during the COVID-19 shutdown even after realizing the grades would be pass/fail. I have had many students not only turn in every assignment, but take pride in their work, as well. Please remember that the work you put in now is not a sacrifice. It is an investment! While you might not need to know exactly what happened during the Tet Offensive when you are an adult, the work ethic you are building and the accountability you are showing will carry on with you. My favorite part of distance learning was seeing the students through Zoom meetings. We will have social zoom’s on Monday and Thursday the last week (18th and 21st). Pay attention to Google Classroom for details. Have a fun summer and I hope to see you soon!
Mrs. Williamson -
I know this is not how we expected the school year to end, but we have all done the best we can with the situation we were given. You guys are amazing. I have been so impressed with your self-discipline and work ethic through online learning. I have loved hearing from all of you on your weekly check-ins, and I truly appreciate your openness and honesty in how you are doing and feeling. As we go into this summer, remember to be kind to yourself and others--we are all going through these crazy times together. Can’t wait to see you all in person!
Mr. Cattran
To the Class of 2020 we are so proud of you and all your accomplishments. I have truly enjoyed our time together and I wish you luck in all your future plans. Please know that even though you are graduated we will always be here to help whenever you may need it. I understand the end of the year was not what we all expected, but you have risen to the challenge.
I want to thank all my students for all your hard work and patience over these last two months. You have worked hard and your work has been well done. I have truly enjoyed reading answers to your question of the week. I know this situation has not been ideal, however, you have all stepped up and shown how responsible you can be. I am so proud of all of you and I can't wait to see you soon. Have a great summer and stay safe.
