WMS Weekly Warrior

Summer Update August 2022

Good afternoon Woodbury Middle School Community,

We hope you are enjoying this hot and dry summer. Welcome to our new incoming families. Time is sure moving fast to the start of the 2022-23 school year. In this summer edition of the Weekly Warrior, we thought we would give you a brief breakdown of what’s happening this summer at WMS:

  • · Custodians are working hard cleaning the building and making repairs
  • · Student Schedules are being uploaded to PowerSchool and will be available later in the month
  • · Supply Lists were sent to families on 7-20
  • · Filling vacant staff positions is ongoing
  • · Updating the new WMS logo around the building
  • · Welcoming incoming 6th-grade students and families at 6th-grade orientation on August 25th

With almost five weeks until the school opening on September 1, we still have a lot of work ahead of us. A student/parent welcome letter with all our opening information will follow in the coming weeks. If you have not completed the annual registration, please do so soon. PowerSchool registration is our yearly web-based registration for your child. This registration includes relevant emergency, health, and handbook information and important Region 14 policies. This registration information must be completed each year before the school year begins.

***Please note the links below are not active and will be activated when the school year begins

Have a great rest of your summer, and we will see all of you soon.
