Rules

Rules for 2

If your number is even then it is divisible by 2.

Example- 548

Divisible by-4, 2

The reason that 548 is divisible by two and four is, because its an even number and the last two digits of the number are divisible by four. the reason that ten is not divisible by 548 is because, the number doesn’t end in zero.

Rules for 3

If the sum of the digits are equal to a multiple of 3 then it is divisible by 3.

Rules for 4

If the last 2 digits are divisible by 4 then it is divisible by 4.

Example-

520

Divisible by-4, 5,

The reason that 520 is divisible by 5 is because if theres a 5 or a 0 at the end then its divisible by 5, and the reason for 4 is because the last two digits of the number was divisible by 4. The reason that 520 isn’t divisible by 9 is, because the sum isn't divisible by 9.

Rules for 5

If the number ends in 5 or 0 then it is divisible by 5.

Rules for 6

If a number is divisible by 2 and 3 then it is divisible by 6.

Rules for 9

This rule is almost the same as dividing the number by 3,

add up all the digits in the number and find out what the sum is.

If the sum is divisible by 9 then it is divisible by 9.

Rules for 10

If the number have has a zero at the end then it is divsible by 10

Example- 110

2, 5, 10

The reason these numbers are divisible by 110 are, because its an even number and it ends in zero. the reason its not divisible by three is, because the sum is two and that's not divisible by 3
