6TH GRADE HIKE UP MT PEG
Several classes have been meeting their recognition goals for being safe, respectful, and ready to learn. When classes meet their goals, they have a class celebration such as this 6th grade hike up Mt Peg and stuffed animal and pajama days in the primary grades. Keep up the good work!
We Are Hiring!
The position starts at $15.35 an hour and salary increases with experience and/or associates/undergraduate degree.
This is the perfect job during the day for a stay-at-home parent! It is a great way to get to know our students and staff better and play a part in making WES a great place to learn. Please contact Maggie Mills ASAP if interested.

A Note From the Harvest Supper Committee
Dear Parents and Guardians,
It’s time to come together for the 45th Harvest Supper in Pomfret! Your children may choose to bring home a packet of 10 raffle tickets for your family to sell to friends, neighbors and relatives. Tickets cost $1.00 each. We will be raffling beautiful baskets of goodies to benefit The New Bridge Project at The Prosper Valley campus.
Each basket will be overflowing with surprises and gifts donated by the children and families in our community. A drop off basket will be located in the WES lobby. We are looking for new items to go with the following themes: Arts & Crafts, Family Fun Night, Sweets and Treats, Vermont Products, Garden Supplies, Kitchen Supplies and Sports & Recreation.
We will be raffling the baskets the night of the Harvest Supper. You do not need to be present to win. However, we certainly hope that you won’t miss the opportunity to come and enjoy an old-fashioned turkey dinner and visit with friends and neighbors.
If you would like more tickets, they will be available at the school office and we will be selling them at the supper prior and during each seating. Please return all unsold tickets, ticket stubs and money to the WES office, Michelle Hough or Lori Flynn by October 4th.
The basket raffle is always a huge success and lots of fun during the dinner. We thank you for your support in making the Harvest Supper a success again this year!
