This year has been amazing! To have all the students back in the building has been so much fun. Thank you for sharing your children with us and for trusting us as we partner together in your child's education. We have watched them learn, grow, and make tremendous strides throughout the year. We are so proud of our little All-Stars. We hope you have a fantastic summer break and we look forward to seeing you next school year!

  • Anderson PTA will be providing ONE Grade Level Shirt for each child in K thru 5th Grade FREE of charge. Grade Level Shirts are worn for school rally days as well as on field trips. Please fill out the google form with your child's(ren) name, grade level for the 2022-2023 school year, and shirt size.


Grade Level shirts will be delivered at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year.

Kindergarten Enrollment for Fall 2022

Online enrollment for elementary students who will be new to Allen ISD for the 2022-2023 school year is now OPEN. Within the online application, you will have the opportunity to upload required enrollment documents. To expedite your student’s enrollment, please upload the required documents within the online application.

A registrar will contact you to confirm and finalize your student's enrollment.

  • Texas state law requires a child must be 5 years old ON or BEFORE Sept. 1 to be eligible to enroll in kindergarten.
  • Pre-K students currently enrolled and attending Allen ISD at Rountree or Cheatham do not need to re-enroll for kindergarten.
  • Kindergarten information for parents can be found in the Kindergarten Handbook on the district website.

Kindergarten Enrollment for 2022-2023

Allen ISD PreK Program

In the 2022-2023 school year, Allen ISD will serve eligible students in a half-day Prekindergarten program and a full-day Prekindergarten program. There are limited seats for the full-day program.

The full-day program will consist of two full-day monolingual Prekindergarten classes and one full-day bilingual Prekindergarten class. All three full-day classes will be located at Rountree Elementary. A Prekindergarten lottery process will be held for the full-day available class seats. In order to be considered for the Prekindergarten lottery for the 2022-2023 school year, families must complete the Prekindergarten registration process and submit all required documentation by Thursday, May 26, 2022. Families will receive email notification of selection or wait list during the week of June 20th. Families of selected students must confirm their acceptance and commitment for the 2022-2023 school year by the established deadline.

School Health Advisory Council (SHAC)

Are you interested in playing a vital role in our district-wide implementation of a coordinated school health program? Allen ISD is seeking parents who are interested in serving on the district’s School Health Advisory Council (SHAC). The SHAC plays an important role in strengthening the connection between health and learning while also assisting AISD in ensuring that local community values are reflected in health education instruction.


The Allen ISD SHAC is now accepting applications from parents, guardians, and community members. This is a one-year commitment beginning next school year with a total of four SHAC meetings.

Allen ISD Learn ‘N Playday Preschool will be having registration for the 2022-2023 school year beginning on January 31st. Before this time, you can get your child on our waiting list by e-mailing your child’s name, birthdate, parent’s name, e-mail, best phone number, and class preference. For more information on how to register your child please check their website at www.allenisd.org/learnnplayday. Anyone in Allen ISD is eligible for enrollment.


Learn ‘N Playday is located at George Anderson Elementary School and has been providing a quality tuition-based preschool experience for 3-5-year-old children since 1986. Classes run from 9 am until 2 pm and are offered 2, 3 or 5 days (5 day-4’s only) a week. If you have any questions, please feel free to email learnnplay@allenisd.org.
