Belgium is a European country in which French is spoken. There are three official languages in Belgium - French, Dutch, and German.

Food in Belgium

Belgium is known for its chocolate. You will find "chocolateries" in all the larger cities of Belgium. They produce and sell their chocolate in the chocolaterie. Here is more information on Belgian chocolate. Definitely worth a visit just to visit the chocolate shops :-).

Wallonia is the region in Belgium where French is spoken. French is also the predominant language in Brussels, but look at a map of Belgium, and you will see that Brussels is almost a francophone island surrounded by the Dutch speaking regions.
