SCCDA Annual Poetry and Art Contest
For 57 years the National Career Development Association has sponsored the Annual Poetry and Art Contest. The contest officially kicks-off during Novemeber - National Career Development Month.
For the past several years, South Carolina placed in the national winner slots in an impressive percentage of the national contest. In 2020, 13 of the 43 national winners were from SC. In 2021, 10 of the 47 national winners were from SC. We hope to have a great representation again this year for the 2022-23 contest.
Specific details for this year's contest can be found on the SCCDA website since SCCDA serves as the state sponsor of the contest as the South Carolina affiliate of the NCDA. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR STATE SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 2, 2022 (NOT DECEMBER 20 AS INDICATED ON THE NATIONAL FLYER). Also, please ensure that you attach page 3 of the flyer to your submission so we know the details for the submission. SCCDA will provide prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category.
