Chaparral's Good News!

Week 16: April 19-23, 2021

On behalf of our Administrative Team...

Weekend Highlights

Hello Cougar Families,

The upcoming week brings a new sense of excitement across our campus! Our staff is ready to welcome our "In-Person" 6th graders on campus while connecting "Remote" learners off-campus too. The hybrid learning approach will allow our dynamic team of counselors to check-in and offer support to 6th-graders stepping on campus for the 1st time next week while also remaining available remotely to students at home. As a reminder, parents who submitted a response for "In-Person Learning" received an email on April 1st with complete video guidelines for the Spring Reopening. Students on "Remote Learning" will connect to distance learning online, as they have been this past year.

Below is a brief summary of the details shared in this week's newsletter:

Spring Reopening: Overview

Weekly Schedule: Student Reminders

Hello Cougars,

Our school is looking forward to welcoming 6th-graders on campus next week! Students on "remote" learning will continue connecting online to their teachers' classroom, exactly the same way they have been all year long. Students whose parents previously communicated to the school that they will be "in-person" learning on our campus will need to be sure the Aeries Health Screening is submitted each day prior to arriving at the school. Lastly, check out our ASB's weekly activity for "National Librarian Day" and post onto the padlet found on your counselor's Google Classroom for a chance at earning a "Spirit Pack" in April!
