Join Kumu Lua Ramsay Taum in this two hour workshop

Hosted by the Hawaii Pacific University Humanities faculty and students, Kumu Ramsay will hold a two-hour Lua seminar. In this hands-on seminar, you will learn and practice hand-to-hand techniques, learn the "aloha" in Lua and learn about Hawaiian weapons.

About Kumu Ramsay

Ramsay Remigius Mahealani Taum is the founder and president of the Life Enhancement Institute (LEI) of the Pacific LLC.


Ramsay is an inspiring speaker, teacher, writer and recognized transformational thought leader. Trained and mentored by respected Hawaiian elders he stands in two worlds blending nearly thirty years of business and community service building bridges between culture and commerce.


As Po'o (head instructor) of Lua Halau o Kaihewalu in Hawai'i, Kumu Ramsay has taught martial arts and personal protection classes in Hawai'i for nearly 35 years. He has trained law enforcement, security and military personnel, and serves as a technical stunt and cultural advisor for film & television productions like Hawaii Five-0 (seasons 2 and 3).
