MCES Weekly Top Five For Parents
UPDATES AND REMINDERS FOR THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 22
A Message from The Administration Team
Greetings and Salutations to Our Montclair Families,
As we prepare to transition to Plan / Blended Learning, the staff and administration team would like to remind families how to prepare for this transition.
To ensure a smooth transition to Blended Learning, we ask all families how have opted for the student to return in person to go over the Three Ws provided by the Center for Disease Control. Parents must practice masking wearing with the students and prepare them to understand that they will have to wear their masks throughout the school day. Masking wearing is not an option for returning to in-person learning unless there is an underlying medical condition that prevents this, provided by a doctor. Additionally, most of our students have not socialized in-person with other students since last year in March; however, they must maintain social distance while in school. All personnel in the school building are to remain six feet distance from each other. Lastly, continue to work with your child on maintaining hygienic sanitation. Remind them to wash and their hands for 20-30 seconds and use hand sanitizer frequently. Students are also allowed to bring water bottles to school to use at the water fountains. Students should not use the water fountain without the use of a water bottle. Bathroom breaks and handwashing breaks will be more frequent and built into the master schedule.
Montclair will host a transportation informational session for Montclair for families who have opted for transportation during Plan B, in addition to a Plan B Q& A with MCES Families. The administration team will share information at a later date.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns for administrators, please feel free to click on our google meets linked to this page's bottom. If not, we encourage you to have a Terrific Tuesday.
