Happy New Year, Huskies! The hardest thing about returning from a holiday break is getting back into good routines. Setting routines for mornings and evenings - including nutritious meals and an early bedtime helps children cope with the stresses that may arise from returning to school. Routines have many benefits, namely, children feel comfortable and stable in their environment, resulting in more cooperative behavior inside and outside of school. Learning always starts at home and your child's mood affects how well he/she learns. A positive outlook is the best thing you can inspire in your children to keep them performing well at school and when tackling homework. Thank you for partnering with us to make each and every school day a positive experience for our Huskies. Dare to be remarkable!

"Fun Facts" about the second grade team:

Welcome to 2020, Huskies!
On February 6th, Holly Academy is hosting our annual Spelling Bee. Students may sign up in the main office. When signing up, be sure to pick up the word list and rules for the Spelling Bee. The Bee is divided into two categories: 3rd - 5th grade and 6th - 8th grade. The winner and runner up from each Bee will compete in the Michigan Charter School Spelling Bee at Trillium Academy in March. Parents and families are welcome to attend. Please see the flyer below for specific times.
