Library Corner - Women's History Month

Sponosred by the Long Valley Junior Women's Club, 2023 will be the start of the 24th annual LVJWC Middle School Photo Contest. Students are asked to submit digital photos of specific categories. Deadline to submit pictures is April 29th.

Boys Baseball
Boys Baseball - 7th / 8th Grades
Pitchers and catchers should report to the North Gym after school, on Thursday, March 23. Pitchers and catchers should come prepared with sneakers (tennis court or inside the North Gym) and outdoor workout gear. Catchers should come prepared with catcher's gear. Pitchers and catchers can bring their signed player/parent contract at that time.
Tryouts will continue the week of April 3rd after school
Girls Softball
Girls Softball - 7th / 8th Grades
Softball Tryouts will begin on Monday, April 3rd, and end Thurs April 6th. Tryouts will run 3:30 -5:00 pm daily. Girls should come with all the necessary equipment to play and should have a ride home.
Only girls with approved physicals are able to attend!
Boys and Girls Track and Field
Boys and Girls Track & Field** - 6th - 8th Grades
The first Track & Field practice will be held after Spring Break on Wednesday, April 5th until 4:30. Please remember to bring water and running shoes. Please meet at the North Gym at dismissal. WSee Coach Petrucelli or Coach Kays with any questions!

PTA Reflections Winner
7th Grader Julia Bunnell’s Dance Choreography entry recently earned an Award of Merit in the state level of PTA Reflections, the National PTA’s cornerstone arts program. Congratulations, Julia! If you enjoy art, music, dance, writing, or photography, look for more details later this August when the LVMS PTA offers the Reflections program to all LVMS students.
