Saskatchewan Canada is recruiting Family Medicine Doctors

Saskatchewan is a growing and vibrant province in the heart of western Canada. We have many communities, large and small, offering medical practice opportunities for you and a great way of life for your family. Saskatchewan is not only home to many great communities, but it also has more than 1 million people living in an area twice the size of England (588, 000 km2); a medical training and research institution (University of Saskatchewan); a vibrant economy that includes agriculture, mining and manufacturing; a four season climate with summer temperatures ranging from 15-30 degrees Celcius and winter temperatures ranging from 0 to -25 degrees Celcius; and, on average, the most sunshine of any Canadian province

If you choose one of the many medical practice opportunities we have to offer in Saskatchewan, you’ll be in good company. In addition to Canadian born medical graduates, Saskatchewan relies heavily on internationally trained medical graduates to help deliver patient first care to our residents

All GPs not trained in Canada are required to go through a physician assessment program (commonly referred to as SIPPA) that is unique to Saskatchewan. Ask our staff for more information about the program. Also, in order to practice here you must be licenced by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) and have met the requirements of the Medical Council of Canada. More information on CPSS is available on its website (http://www.quadrant.net/cpss) and Medical Council of Canada requirements can be found at its website www.physiciansapply.ca.

You can also have a look at our current opportunities here, then we can tell you more about them when we see you in Dusselldorf.

See you there!
